Language requirements for Autumn 2021 entry
Language requirements for Autumn 2021 entry are still being reviewed and confirmed, in consideration of the current global circumstances. However, we recommend that you upload whatever language test you have just now and submit your application as soon as you can.
You don’t need to have your final degree certificate or English test results at the time of submitting your application – these can be uploaded later.
An applicant who is completing the final year of his/her first degree or who has yet to provide the required evidence of proficiency in English will be considered for entry to the GLOCAL programme but will not receive an unconditional offer of a place on the programme until we have received his/her final degree and/or English language test results. In such cases you may be made a conditional offer on finishing your degree at the required grade and/or obtaining the required English language test results. This documentation must be submitted to the GLOCAL Consortium via the University of Glasgow before you can enrol on the GLOCAL programme.
Please note: whilst Duolingo tests may still be permitted for 2021 entry for some courses at the University of Glasgow, the requirements will likely be increased and may not apply for all courses.
Please keep an eye on the COVID-19 FAQ page to get updates on language requirements for Autumn 2021 entry when they are confirmed.
