Meet The Team: Fraser Blain
In this series, we introduce you to the many academics and administrative staff that work tirelessly to help make GLOCAL the programme that it is. Today, we’re meeting Fraser Blain, Erasmus Mundus Projects Coordinator at the University of Glasgow
Fraser has worked with GLOCAL since 2022 as part of the Erasmus Mundus team at the University of Glasgow. He provides support to students and colleagues in areas including visa guidance, staff travel, sharing information about additional opportunities with students, and many more administrative tasks.
What do you enjoy most about GLOCAL?
“My favourite thing about GLOCAL is when all our students arrive at the start of their time on the programme in Glasgow – getting to meet students from all over the world and hear about their past experiences is fascinating.”
What makes a good GLOCAL student?
“A good GLOCAL student is confident, inquisitive, and respectful, someone who leads and shapes debates in a constructive and fully-rounded way. We want our students to have a real sense of who they are, what they believe in, and what they want to get from their studies.”
