Student Support and Wellbeing

GLOCAL students have access to mental health and wellbeing services at all of our partner institutions throughout their time on the programme – see below for more information, and remember to reach out for support if you need it.

Mynurva (available to all students remotely)

The University of Glasgow has partnered with Mynurva to provide support to all registered students whilst overseas. Mynurva works alongside you to focus on a longstanding concern, a new difficulty, or to help pinpoint what it is that doesn’t feel right. A professional therapist will help you to make sense of your experience, thoughts or behaviours and work with you to plan moving forward.

Students who sign up for the service will be offered an assessment session and based on the results of the assessment will receive up to 3 treatment sessions. Each session is 50 minutes long and will be delivered by video link via our online webapp.

Current GLOCAL students who are looking to access this service can find more information on their course Moodle.
