Times Higher Education Impact Rankings
We’re very proud to share that the University of Glasgow has ranked 12th in the world in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings!
The University has also ranked 1st in Scotland, 2nd in the UK, and 3rd in Europe – 2,526 universities from 130 countries or territories have been based on their progress towards the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Key highlights for University of Glasgow include:
💧 3rd Globally in Clean Water & Sanitation (SDG 6)
♻ 10th Globally in Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12)
🌍 10th Globally in Life on Land (SDG 15)
We’d also like to congratulate the University of Barcelona for ranking within the Top 150 Globally, and ranking 27th in Quality Education and =57th in Climate Action
QS University Rankings 2026
This week the QS University Rankings also came out, with three GLOCAL partners ranking in the Top 100 Globally:
- 57th – Kyoto University
- 79th – University of Glasgow
- 93rd – Uppsala University
- 140th – Erasmus University Rotterdam
- 160th – University of Barcelona
- 212th – Universidad de Los Andes
- 243rd – University of Göttingen
